Advanced Firearm Training

The Advanced Firearms Training course is designed to help the experienced shooter to learn and sharpen their defensive skills with instruction and range practice. This course covers:

• Situation avoidance
• Conflict resolution
• Deadly force laws
• Defense-style shooting
• Point shooting
• Approaching a target
• Shooting while moving laterally
• Shooting from different positions

Students are exposed to additional defensive shooting styles that prepare them for what they may encounter in real life situations and get the opportunity to practice them.

Course pre-requisite: Due to the advanced level of this course, completion of the Beginner Firearms Training course or equivalent experience is mandatory.

This class does not fulfill the educational requirements for applying for a Carrying Concealed Deadly Weapon (CCDW) permit.
